see tthe topic "NDS Editor v0.1 "  2nd post for instructions.
it tells how to pack sdat files (providing that you have the other source files with your sseq file)
use this tool too:

http://rapidshare.com/files/94351336/editor.rar.html

you need winrar to open it; google is thee search engine

nds editor > tools> make SDAT file

The making SDAT file function is to re-pack the files previously unpacked by the Editor.
Therefore, it assumed that all your SDAT-related files are in the order/directory in which the original SDAT file is unpacked.
To solve you problem, you may First, unpack your Mario SDAT file using the Editor.
Then convert a SSEQ file into midi file
Make some change as you want to that midi file
Convert it back to SSEQ file.
Replace this your SSEQ file with the original one.
Then pack them altogether using the Editor.
Presumably, this would do.

i have resolved my problem:

i have extracted the nds roms with nds editor and i have extracted the .sdat file.
i have use my new sseq file and i have placed it in my directory sseq.
i have repacted my rom with nds editor..
and i launch my rom and i have a white screen.

Because the name of my folder is different than super mario 64 want launch it
when i use sdattool, i extract the folder and it's different name folder than your nds editor...
it's big problem because i can't packed the directory in sdattool and i can in ndseditor but i can't renamed my directory for launch my rom....

please corrext this problem thanks you.

Actually sdattool & my editor both extract the same sound files, but using different style of file naming.
sdattool does not extract SDAT-specific info, i.e. the SYMB block (SYMB = Symbol, a block in the SDAT containing the sound file names)

When you want to replace your SSEQ file with the original one, make sure the followings :-
1. the file name is exactly the same as the original one.
2. since ALL SSEQ are used in connection with SWAV files (SWAV files are usually packed in a SWAR file), you have to make sure that the notes used in your SSEQ are those used by the original SSEQ.  Otherwise, your note will have no corresponding SWAV to play, hence no sound (or may lead to crash/white screen).
3. since a SSEQ must have an associate SBNK file, you need to take care of the parameters used in the SBNK file, otherwise you may not get the colour/tone of the music you want from your own SSEQ.

These all require you have a thorough understanding of how SDAT files work in DS, and the file format of different sound files.
Try something easy first, for example, changing some notes in a SSEQ file, increasing/lowering the tempo
